Five major Chinese travel platforms — CTG, Utour Group, China Comfort Group, AMAP, and TCP Red Bull — will sign letters of intent to promote Thai tourism in the Chinese market, which remains Thailand's most important source of international visitors.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian stated that "China hopes the visit will galvanize efforts to carry forward the traditional friendship and deepen comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries."
