- How does a home charger 'pay for itself'?
- Charging at home (≈฿4–5/kWh) is much cheaper than public DC (≈฿6.5–8/kWh). The tool multiplies the per-kWh saving by your monthly energy use, then divides the install cost by that saving to get the payback time.
